FBC would like to invite you to attend
any of our regularly scheduled worship services. Our members and guests
gather each Sunday morning for Bible study at 9:00 a.m. and then for worship at
10:15 a.m. Sunday evening worship begins at 6:00 p.m. while our
mid-week service of prayer and Bible study starts at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday
evening.
FBC places a major emphasis on
celebrative worship with great music, preaching and fellowship. We
would love for you to share in these times of praise and personal
commitment to God.

The
XYZ (Extra Years of Zest) program is focused on our senior adults. This
group meets monthly March - June and September - December. Highlights of
some of these meetings include medical professionals, city officials,
missionaries and music groups from the High School. Each meeting concludes
with a luncheon.


Melody Hannah is our Minister of Music,
and leads the congregation in singing of hymns and is the director of the Adult
Choir, Kid's Choir, and Preschool Choir.

Bible Study, Christian Education & Youth
FBC
is committed to providing quality Christian Education with the purpose of
helping each person to know God through Jesus Christ and then to live a life of
faith, love and service. Our weekly Bible studies offer teaching - learning
experiences for everyone from pre-school children to senior adults. Join
us for Bible study each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
FBC also provides opportunities for continual Christian nurture
development. Specific classes are offered which relate to living the
Christian life in today's world. Youth and adults learn to discuss these
issues which affects them personally.
Youth
FBC has a rich heritage of
providing quality youth ministry. Teenagers are very important and
our goal is to teach and produce Christ-like qualities in their lives.
Bible studies, camps, retreats and mission trips are designed to help them
grow spiritually. Choir, drama, monthly fellowship and community
projects gives them opportunities for service as well as leadership.

Child Care Services have been in service to the Eldon Community for almost 40 years.
Our purpose is to be a service and ministry arm of First Baptist Church to
families who have need of child care. It seeks to provide Christian concern and
ministry in the form of child development and care designed to help each child
achieve his/her fullest potential in all areas of life: Physical, Mental, Social
and Spiritual and to do this in a safe healthful and loving environment.
The Child Care Services is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
